Best 3 days in Morocco Oh my God, what a great experience!! Everything was spot on, really great. The guide, punktual, funny, entertaining and full of knowledge. Also, his driving skills were great, the driving itself was very safe, I always felt certain with him. He was generous, kind and open-minded. He showed us plenty of interesting places and when we wanted to do or didn't want to do something, he was very flexible and changed the program according to the current situation and our mood. Absolutely great behavior, funny guy with good sense of humor. The program itself was very interesting and intensive. We saw every type of moroccan landscape and experienced a night in the desert. The accomodations were amazing, they served us so much good food (for example in the first hotel, we had 6 courses, which was crazy, but everything was absolutely delicious), that we were full after a few minutes. Everyone was really kind to us and altogether generous. We were travelling from Marrakesh to Merzouga and then to Fes, all these places in 3 days. The car we were using during this trip was very well air-conditioned, spacious and adequate for the four of us. We even got the chance to ride on camels. What a once-in-life oppurtunity and a great experience! Thanks again guys! Everything was planned for us, we didn't have to do anything, we didn't have to communicate in advance with any of the accomodations or places we visited... Just top service for us. We felt really relaxed and enjoyed it so much, I can't even express it all. Thanks again to the one and only guide, Saïd, who was absolutely amazing, calm in driving and who made our experience undeniably better. The only thing I can say, I recommend it with all my heart and if you're wondering whether to go for it or not, stop doing that and 100% go for it. This agency get pretty much prepare the program exactly for you. You can discuss anything in advance and don't be afraid to ask about anything. They are really friendly 😊 thanks a lot and I wish you just the best guys. Keep doing what you're doing! Because you're doing it honestly really well!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

10 Incredible Days in Morocco with an Amazing Team My wife and I just finished a 10-day tour of Morocco with Navigate Morocco, and it exceeded every expectation we had. We booked the Superior package, but honestly, it felt like a luxury experience from start to finish. Our driver, Youssef, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, always on time, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. He shared so much about Moroccan culture, history, and local life that the long drives flew by. The local guides were fantastic as well. Amen in Fes was incredibly informative and passionate about the city's rich history, making the medina come alive. Mustapha in Marrakech was equally excellent, giving us an authentic look at the city's history, architecture, and hidden gems. The accommodations were exceptional. Every riad and hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully selected. The Sahara Eden Camp was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff there were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our desert experience unforgettable. From the hospitality to the food, music, and accommodations, everything was amazing. We also loved traveling in the brand-new, spacious minivan. It was spotless, extremely comfortable, and made the longer travel days relaxing instead of tiring. From the planning to the execution, everything was seamless. Every detail was taken care of, allowing us to simply enjoy the incredible scenery, culture, food, and hospitality of Morocco. If you're considering a trip to Morocco, I can't recommend Navigate Morocco highly enough. They delivered an unforgettable experience, and we would absolutely book with them again. Thank you to Youssef, Amen, Mustapha, the Sahara Eden Camp staff, and the entire Navigate Morocco team for making this one of the best vacations we've ever had! 🇺🇸🇲🇦 YALLAAAPosted on Tripadvisor![]()

Serenella Giulia e Paolo - LuccaPosted on Tripadvisor![]()

Long drives and epic scenery in beautiful Morocco Thank you, Mustapha & Navigate Morocco for a fantastic, Moroccan experience on our long drive too and from Marrakech to Merzouga. Our timings did not allow for stop overs as a lot of other people do, so Mustapha worked with us to make sure he catered for our needs and worked with us to go through our best options, as we still wanted to stop off and see a couple of the many beautiful sights along the way. The drive itself is magnificent as you travel through the beautiful and diverse landscapes that Morocco has to offer. From the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, through Tizi n’Tichka pass and beyond. He is a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic driver, who know the roads and the routes like the back of his hands. Thank you Navigate Morocco for making our adventure so special. I highly recommend.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

The most beautiful trip we ever took. Like a dream ! An experience of a lifetime Thank you Navigate Morocco for a fantastic, fully immersive Moroccan experience. In particular I would like to thank our guide, Mustapha, a very knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful young man. He is an asset to his company and a great ambassador for his country. Mustapha assured our tour from Marrakesh to Merzouga, and Fes to Volubilis and Chefchaouen, ran seamlessly. He went above and beyond to give us the best experience. My favourite time was the few days spent at the desert camp. I loved learning about the Berber nomads culture, history and music. And the camel sunset ride, a magical once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Navigate Morocco for making our adventure so special. I highly recommend.

This 10 day Morocco tour from Marrakech covers the Sahara, the imperial cities and the Blue City of Chefchaouen at a comfortable pace.
This 10-day Morocco itinerary offers a complete journey through the country’s most iconic destinations, combining imperial cities, Atlas Mountains landscapes, Sahara Desert adventures, and historic kasbahs. Starting in Marrakech, the Red City of Morocco, the tour travels through the High Atlas Mountains, UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, lush oases, dramatic valleys, and the golden dunes of Merzouga.
You will experience a true Sahara Desert camel trek, stay in a luxury desert camp, explore Fes, Morocco’s spiritual capital, discover Roman ruins at Volubilis, and end in the peaceful Blue City of Chefchaouen before reaching Casablanca. Designed as a private Morocco tour, this itinerary balances culture, nature, history, and comfort, guided by experienced local professionals from Navigate Morocco.
At Merzouga, the Erg Chebbi dunes rise to around 150 meters, among the tallest in Morocco. The Medina of Fez, founded in the 9th century, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world. Chefchaouen, founded in 1471 in the Rif Mountains, is famous for its blue-washed medina.
The best months for a full Morocco circuit are March to May and September to November, when both the cities and the desert are comfortable. Summer is hot inland and in the Sahara, and winter brings cold desert nights and snow in the mountains.
This private 10 day Morocco tour from Marrakech starts from $1,150 per person, based on two travelers sharing, and the price per person drops for larger groups. Every itinerary can be adjusted to your dates, pace and hotel preferences. Send us your dates on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form below for a free quote.
Your Moroccan adventure begins upon arrival in Marrakech, the vibrant Red City and the cultural heart of southern Morocco. Upon landing at Marrakech Menara Airport, your private transfer with Navigate Morocco will take you directly to your traditional riad or hotel in the heart of the medina.
Marrakech is a city where history, culture, and modern life converge in extraordinary ways. After settling in, take some time to enjoy the atmosphere of this remarkable city. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to take a gentle stroll through the medina, a UNESCO-listed maze of narrow alleys, vibrant souks, and artisan workshops. Discover local crafts such as leatherwork, pottery, textiles, and metalwork, and capture the first glimpses of the city’s iconic red walls and ornate architecture.
In the evening, relax at your riad or enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at a nearby restaurant. Savor tagines, couscous, or pastilla while soaking in the sounds and colors of Marrakech. This first night sets the tone for your entire journey, offering a perfect introduction to Moroccan culture and hospitality.
After breakfast at your riad, begin your journey southward into the dramatic landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains. As you leave Marrakech behind, winding mountain roads reveal panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, traditional Berber villages, and fertile valleys. Cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest paved road in North Africa at approximately 2,260 meters above sea level, with sweeping views of the mountains in every direction. This scenic drive offers a genuine glimpse into rural Moroccan life, where local communities maintain centuries-old traditions among breathtaking landscapes.
Your first major stop is the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic kasbahs. This ancient fortified village, built from red earthen clay, has stood as a key stop along historic trans-Saharan trade routes for centuries. Wander its narrow streets and alleyways, explore traditional kasbah homes, and learn about the village’s rich history. Ait Ben Haddou has also served as the backdrop for many famous productions including Gladiator and Game of Thrones, making it one of the most photographed places in Morocco.
Next, visit the tranquil Fint Oasis, a lush green valley tucked between the mountains and desert plains. Palm groves, flowing streams, and traditional mud-brick villages create a serene setting that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding rugged terrain. Take time to walk through the oasis, meet local villagers, and enjoy the calm beauty of this hidden gem before continuing to Ouarzazate, the Gateway to the Sahara, for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast in Ouarzazate, begin the day with a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most famous kasbahs in Morocco. This historic fortress, once home to the powerful Glaoui family, showcases traditional Moroccan architecture with its intricate earthen walls, towers, and narrow passageways. Explore the kasbah’s courtyards and learn about the Glaoui family’s extraordinary influence over southern Morocco during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Continue to Kasbah Amridil in Skoura, an iconic fortified house dating back centuries and surrounded by lush palm groves. This kasbah is a perfect example of southern Moroccan architecture and offers genuine insight into the daily life of traditional Berber families. Wander through the courtyards, admire the decorative motifs, and take photos of this beautifully preserved historic site.
From Skoura, journey through the Dades Valley, often called the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, stopping in the Rose Valley, famous for its fragrant Damask roses and traditional rose oil production, best experienced during the bloom season in April and May. Take time to explore local villages and witness the unique mud-brick kasbahs that dot the landscape. The winding roads of the Dades Valley reveal dramatic rock formations and panoramic viewpoints before you arrive at your riad for a peaceful evening in the heart of the valley.
After breakfast, depart the Dades Valley and head eastward toward one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural wonders. The morning drive through the Dades Gorge passes towering red rock formations, ancient kasbahs, and the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations near Ait Oudinar, one of the most photographed spots along the entire route. Continue to the Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon carved by the Todra River through limestone cliffs that rise over 300 meters on either side. Take a leisurely walk along the river, explore the narrow passages, and capture the breathtaking scale of the rock formations that surround you.
Continue east through Erfoud, a desert town famous for its fossil-rich black marble terrain, offering a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s prehistoric past. Browse the fossil workshops where millions of years of ancient marine life are embedded in the local stone before continuing south toward Merzouga.
As the afternoon light turns golden, arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where your camels will be waiting. Trek across the golden sands as the sun begins its descent, the dunes glowing in shades of amber and rose. Your guide will lead you to your luxury desert camp, where a warm welcome of mint tea and Berber bread awaits. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars and the hypnotic sound of live Berber music around the campfire, surrounded by the extraordinary silence of the Sahara.
Rise early to witness the Sahara sunrise, one of the most peaceful and unforgettable moments of the entire journey. As the first light of dawn slowly illuminates the towering dunes in shades of pink and gold, the desert awakens around you in complete silence. After breakfast at the camp, embark on a full day of desert exploration and cultural experiences in the Merzouga region.
Begin with a visit to a Berber nomadic family, learning about their traditional lifestyle, customs, and how they thrive in one of the most challenging environments in the world. Continue to the fossil mines near Merzouga, where you can marvel at millions of years of prehistoric history embedded in the rocks. Head next to Khamlia Village, famous as the home of the Gnawa musicians, descendants of sub-Saharan Africans brought to Morocco during the 16th and 17th centuries. Enjoy a live performance of this deeply spiritual and rhythmic music by local artists, one of the most memorable cultural encounters of the tour.
The day also includes a stop at Barrage des Oiseaux (Birds Lake), a peaceful oasis where migratory birds gather amid the desert landscape, perfect for photography and quiet reflection. For those seeking extra adventure, the afternoon offers optional activities including sand buggy rides or ATV quad bike tours across the dunes. Return to the camp in the evening for a final night in the Sahara.
After breakfast at your desert camp, leave the golden dunes behind and begin the long and scenic journey northwest toward Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. The day starts with a drive through the Ziz Valley, a lush oasis region famous for its endless palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages lining the banks of the Ziz River. Stop at the panoramic viewpoint high above the valley for sweeping photographs of the palm groves stretching out below, framed by red rock cliffs and desert mountains.
Continue into the Middle Atlas Mountains, where the scenery shifts dramatically from desert plains to rolling hills, cedar forests, and picturesque Berber villages. A stop near Azrou offers a chance to see the famous Barbary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat among the ancient cedar trees, one of Morocco’s most charming wildlife encounters. Drive through Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco, a spotlessly clean alpine town with European-style chalets, manicured parks, and cool mountain air that provides a striking contrast to the landscapes of the south.
Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and check into your traditional riad in the heart of the old medina. Take time to settle in, enjoy a mint tea on the rooftop terrace, and soak in the atmosphere of this extraordinary city before a full day of exploration tomorrow.
Today, an expert local guide will lead you through the heart of Fes el-Bali, the ancient walled medina of Fes and one of the most complete and best-preserved medieval cities in the world. Walk through a labyrinth of over nine thousand alleyways where centuries-old architecture, bustling souks, and the scent of spices fill the air at every turn.
Begin with Fes Jdid, the royal quarter featuring the magnificent gates of the Royal Palace adorned with intricate zellige tilework and brasswork. Continue to the Southern Borj, a 16th-century fortress offering panoramic viewsover the sprawling Fes el-Bali medina. Explore the UNESCO-listed old medina and visit Al-Qarawiyyin University, founded in 859 AD and recognized as the world’s oldest continuously operating university. Discover the Bou Inania Madrasa, a stunning 14th-century theological school of remarkable decorative craftsmanship, then head to the world-famous Chouara Tanneries, where leather has been dyed using the same natural pigments and traditional techniques for over a thousand years.
Round off the day with a walk through the artisan workshops where coppersmiths, weavers, and ceramicists practice their crafts as they have for generations. For those who wish to go deeper into Moroccan culinary culture, an optional cooking class with a local family is available in the evening, learning to prepare traditional dishes such as tagine or couscous.
After breakfast, depart Fes and head west toward Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities and a former capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. Enjoy a guided visit to the city’s most important landmarks, beginning with Bab Mansour, considered one of the finest and most beautifully decorated gates in all of Morocco. Walk through the historic medina and royal areas that reflect Meknes’ grand imperial past before continuing a short distance west.
Visit Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman archaeological site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore ancient ruins dating back to the 3rd century, including beautifully preserved mosaic floors, basilicas, triumphal arches, and the foundations of Roman villas that once housed the city’s wealthy inhabitants. Walking through Volubilis offers a fascinating and completely different perspective on Morocco’s long and layered history, far beyond its famous medinas and kasbahs.
In the afternoon, travel north through fertile plains and rolling hills toward Chefchaouen, nestled in the heart of the Rif Mountains. As the road climbs higher, the landscape becomes greener and the views more dramatic. Arrive in Chefchaouen and check into your riad. Spend the evening wandering freely through the blue-painted alleys of the medina, visiting local artisan shops, or sitting quietly in a cafe as the mountain light fades over the rooftops.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Chefchaouen to experience the calm rhythm of the Blue City one last time. Take a final walk through the blue-washed alleyways, photograph the distinctive doorways and staircases in the soft morning light, visit local handicraft shops, or sit in a rooftop cafe overlooking the Rif Mountains with a glass of Moroccan mint tea.
In the late morning, depart Chefchaouen and travel south toward Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital city. Upon arrival, enjoy a short stop to visit some of Rabat’s most celebrated landmarks, including the Hassan Tower, the unfinished 12th-century minaret standing beside the beautifully crafted Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a charming Andalusian-style fortified quarter overlooking the mouth of the Bou Regreg River and the Atlantic Ocean. This brief visit offers a refined and understated insight into Morocco’s royal history and coastal charm.
Continue south to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic heart. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an evening walk along the Corniche, the city’s lively coastal promenade, or relax at your hotel after a full and rewarding day of travel.
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy some final moments in Morocco depending on your flight schedule. Explore the nearby streets of Casablanca, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque if you have not yet had the chance, orsimply relax at the hotel and reflect on ten extraordinary days of travel across Morocco.
At the appropriate time, your private Navigate Morocco driver will transfer you comfortably to Casablanca Airport for your departure. Airport transfers can also be arranged from Rabat or Marrakech if your flight departs from a different city. As your 10-day Morocco journey comes to a close, take with you lasting memories of imperial cities, desert dunes, mountain passes, ancient medinas, and the extraordinary warmth and hospitality of the Moroccan people.
