Ouarzazate is a good base for day trips through the south of the High Atlas. With a private driver, you can visit the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and the Atlas Film Studios, drive the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the Dades Gorge or the Todra Gorge, or follow the Draa Valley to Zagora, and be back in Ouarzazate by evening.
